Doha: The Intermandalam Sevens Football Tournament organized by the Kozhikode District Committee of Pravasi Welfare concluded with the Turuvampadi Mandalam emerging as champions. The tournament featured 12 teams. Turuvampadi lifted the trophy by defeating Kozhikode North in the final. Both finalist teams reached the final by consecutively defeating the Perambra and Koduvalli teams. Pravasi Welfare State President R. Chandramohan and Indian Sports Centre Managing Committee member Aseem M.T. presented trophies and prizes to the winners. Pravasi Welfare State Vice President Ahmad Shafi, General Secretary Sharafuddin Vadakkangara, Secretary Makhbool Ahmad, State Committee members Shafi Muzhikkal, Sadiq Chennadan, Muhammad Rafi, and Welfare Party Perambra Mandalam former president Kasim M.K. interacted with the players ahead of various matches. The matches held at Vakra Baruwa Village were led by District President Rasikh Narangoli, General Secretary Basim Kodappana, Sports Convener Majeed Appetta, Secretaries Muhsin Omasseri, Amjad Koduvalli, and organizing committee members Faisal V.T., Sainuddin Nadapuram among others.
