The government of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma has taken an important decision towards stopping child marriage. The Assam government has repealed the State Muslim Marriage and Divorce Registration Act 1935. This bill will now be replaced by the Assam Repealing Bill 2024. Hackensack, New Jersey:  The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation (NNJCF) installed successfully a community rain garden and held two interactive painting activities at Hackensack High School on June 1 at the Boost the Block Goes Green festival.
