Houston: George Matthai Vairamon (Lalumon – 75), son of the late retired M.W.O. G. Matthai and Thankamma Matthai from Kundara Vairamon Gardens, Kollam, passed away on November 1 in Houston. After living as an expatriate in Kuwait, he settled in Houston with his family and was an active member of the Stafford Bible Chapel. He is survived by his wife Eliyamma George (Susan), daughter of the late V.E. Thomas and Annamma Thomas of Ilambal Nadukkan. Children: Annie Nisha George – Biju Thomas (Bangalore), Nissi George Vairamon – Daryl John Callur (Canada), Ajay George Vairamon – Asha Sabu (Bangalore). Grandchildren: Jonathan, Abigail, Caleb, Leanne, and Christina. Siblings: Elizabeth James (Houston), Mary Koshi (Cheppad), Evangelist C.M. John (Kundara), Dr. Matthew Vairamon (Houston), Dr. Jacob C.M. (Houston), C.M. Alex (Houston).
Funeral ceremonies: Public viewing will be held on Friday, November 13 at 7 PM at Sowers Harvest Church, 10502 Altonbury Ln, Houston, TX 77031. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 14 at 10 AM at IPC Hebron Houston, 4660 S. Sam Houston Pkwy E, Houston, TX 77048. The burial will follow at 2 PM at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1310 N Main Street, Pearland, TX 77581.
